About Us

Kelly Gaylord is an Artist and the Owner of Decorative Expressions. Kelly specializes in creating wall, ceiling and floor finishes that reflect everything from Olde World charm to New World chic. Whether it's designer glazes, marbling, woodgraining, Venetian Plaster, faux fresco, new age metallics, dimensional stenciling, or a myriad of other textures and finishes, Kelly has the experience and training to bring sophistication and style to your surroundings. Her work also features Mural and Trompe L'Oeil painting as well as decorative furniture and cabinet painting.

Kelly has over 400 hours of professional training including training with Master Faux and Decorative Artisans like William Cochran, Sean Crosby, Nicola Vigini, Pierre Finkelstein, Melanie Royals, and Patrick Daly. Kelly stays abreast of new product offerings and is constantly updating her portfolio to reflect the latest trends in finishes. She is a member of the Society of Guilders, the Society of Decorative Painters and IDAL - the International Professional Faux Finisher's organization.
Kelly started her business in New Jersey and moved to Florida in 2005. Her work has been featured in Doors Weekly, Ever Seen Style Magazine and the Punta Gorda Herald.
